Keto Creole Mahi Mahi



Pan-fried mahi mahi poached in a Creole sauce is a flavorful and satisfying keto dinner option. The combination of spices and vegetables creates a delicious sauce that perfectly complements the mild flavor of the mahi mahi.

Ingredients:

  • 4 mahi mahi fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers red and green
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

On both sides, salt and pepper mahi mahi fillets

Put olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat

Cut up some onion, bell pepper, and garlic

About 5 minutes of cooking will soften the food

Paprika, cayenne pepper, and dried thyme should be added next

Let the flavors mix for 10 minutes while it simmers

Put olive oil in a different pan and heat it over medium-high heat

Put in the mahi mahi fillets and cook for three to four minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked

Add the Creole sauce to the pan-fried mahi mahi before serving

Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley
