  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • Hoagie rolls, for serving

Instructions:

Put chicken breasts in the crock pot

On top of the chicken, put sliced onion and bell pepper

Put beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt in a bowl

Mix the ingredients together

Add the sauce to the slow cooker with the vegetables and chicken

Put the lid on top and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is soft and can be shred with a fork

Use two forks to shred the chicken, then mix it well with the sauce and vegetables

Remove the lid from the slow cooker and add slices of provolone cheese to the chicken mixture that has been shred

Put the lid on top and wait a few minutes for the cheese to melt

Put the pulled chicken cheesesteak on hoagie rolls to serve

Have fun!
