These Hoisin Shrimp and Cashew Lettuce Cups are a delightful combination of savory shrimp, crunchy cashews, and fresh herbs, all wrapped in crisp butter lettuce leaves. Perfect for a light and flavorful meal or appetizer.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 cup cashews, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated
Instructions:
Put ginger, garlic, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl
Toss the shrimp around in the bowl after adding them
Put the shrimp mixture in a pan and heat it over medium heat
It will take about 34 minutes of cooking until the shrimp is pink and opaque
Take the shrimp out of the pan and set it aside
Toast the cashews in the same pan for about two minutes, or until they turn golden brown
Put shrimp in lettuce cups and top with green onions, cilantro, and toasted cashews
Serve right away and enjoy!
